Self-reflection In Domains Of Teamwork, Leadership And Commitment And Communication Skills

Students are offered the chance to participate in important projects that have a significant impact on the community as part their university’s social responsibility program. Students are able to engage in community engagement projects. This is important because it allows them to do different kinds of projects that will benefit society. It also gives them the opportunity to use their creativity and knowledge to solve some problems in the community. Our project involved the design and implementation of a water filtration system that would improve water supply to residents. Additionally, we also participated in major projects to improve the quality of water supply for residents. This paper examines self-reflection on the domains of leadership, teamwork, and commitment.

First, the success of our community outreach project was due to teamwork, strong collaboration, and guidance by our supervisor as well as the entire MPU administrative. Our first meeting was a success because the members cooperated well and reached consensus on many of the proposed projects. Although the team members were of different backgrounds, they were able exchange ideas and perspectives. In our first meeting, we agreed on the type or project that should be done. My idea was accepted by my team and we selected our project that day. This is a great example of teamwork. Members voted for the proposal they believed would make the greatest impact on society. This project has given me new perspectives about teamwork in a diverse group. Because of my leadership skills and commitment, I was part of the logistics department committee. Our goals included booking venues for meetings, booking transport buses, and purchasing necessary items. The whole team and the logistics department organized many meetings. I committed myself to attending all the meetings and participating in the discussion. Even though some members didn’t make it to the meeting, they were able to keep the meeting going and provide updates. In some cases, I learned that not everyone in a team is able to be as committed. It is human nature. Some people find it difficult to work together for the collective good and the team’s success. Students, for example, are more likely than not to give their best effort to study for tests and exams. This is because they want good grades and results. Sometimes students are not as committed to the teamwork aspect of it. This can lead to problems for the team. Based on my own experience and observation, I have learned that this attitude is not good for teamwork. Therefore, I will sacrifice my time to help the team. This project also gave me the chance to improve my communication skills. I was able communicate with my colleagues in a relaxed and informal environment. Additionally, I learned how to communicate ideas with colleagues and groups of people. I was assigned by the head of logistics department to check on bus bookings. This gave me an opportunity to develop communication skills. I believe that the knowledge gained from this project will make a significant impact on my daily life. Financial constraints from sponsors were one of the problems our team had to face. Time constraints were another obstacle. It was difficult for team members to address many issues, such as small business ventures to raise funds for projects. These issues were solved by creativity and flexibility. So, for example, we contributed some money to the project. Our project manager was flexible and was able secure funds from a certain organization. Our supervisor also gave us the mandate to design a water filtration system. When faced with challenges, I learned that flexibility is key. The world is full with challenges. I learned leadership aspects that will help me not only to address my own challenges, but also to work with people from different backgrounds. The success of the project is made possible by team members’ dedication and determination. Although there were many tasks to accomplish before the execution of the project, our team was able to contribute their valuable experience and achieve our ultimate goals.

Our team was not able to secure sponsorship or full funding from any organizations. This led us to need commitment from the team in order solve our financial problems. One example is that we all contributed money as a collective team to the community engagement project. I’ve learned that it can be great to work with a team, especially if everyone is committed, cooperative, cooperative, tolerant, and resilient. I have valuable experience in leadership, teamwork.
